2024 Senior T-shirt -Deadline to order a Senior T-shirt is Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 3:00pm. Order linkThe shirt is Carolina Blue with Navy Print. The back of the shirt will include the names of all graduates with TIGER NATION. Please see Mrs. Cuvelier in the Business department for further questions about Senior T-shirts.
Transcripts - Counselors have been meeting with seniors for an exit interview. At that time, students are requesting where they would like their final transcripts to be sent. Please note that transcripts will not be ready until approximately a week following the last district day of school, which is currently June 3, 2024. If your student took UNI, Hawkeye, or Hawkeye Dual credit courses, you must request a transcript to be sent from them to the school the student will be attending in the fall. One final transcript is free of charge.
Graduation announcements ordered earlier in the year were distributed in February. Additional graduation announcements may be purchased in the main office after April 15. They will be sold for $2.00 each on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Please inquire at the reception desk for those additional announcements. Any further question regarding graduation announcements should be directed to the Herff Jones representative, Matt McManus.

May 16, 2024 - All detention time must be completed to be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
TURNING IN CHROMEBOOKS: Seniors will need to turn in Chromebooks, chargers, and cases before they will be permitted to pick up caps and gowns. Any repairs needed on the Chromebooks that require a charge must be paid for prior to receiving cap and gown.
- Your Chromebook must be working. Fees will be charged for broken screens or total replacement due to damage.
- Be sure to return the charger that was checked out to you-(not your brother/sister’s, friend’s, etc.) If you are unsure, check in the library. Charger replacement fee is $40.00
- Any stickers that the students have placed on their Chromebooks must be removed prior to turning them in. Please do not use metal scrapers that scratch the computer. The Library has supplies to help with the removal of these if needed.

May 23, 2024 - CAPS & GOWNS are to be picked up at Cedar Falls High School Thursday, May 23 in room 104 (Administration Conference Room) Student gowns will not be the same color red as last year. Dye lots vary from year to year. Student cost for the cap, gown and tassel is $33.00. Checks are payable to Cedar Falls High School for the cost of the cap, gown and tassel only. Students will keep their caps, gowns and tassels. All senior obligations and detention must be taken care of prior to picking up cap and gowns. Students must have their Commencement Participation Agreement that you receive signed along with the required parent signature and turn in when picking up their caps & gown on this day. We do not accepted the participation agreement prior to this time.

May 24, 2024 - Senior breakfast will be Friday, May 24, 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church, 7401 University Ave. The Cedar Falls Schools Foundation will once again be providing the tickets to those seniors that fill out the CF Student Alumni information form in exchange for a free ticket to the breakfast. Students will be asked to fill out all the information included on the 2024 Senior Breakfast form. Your ticket will be paid for by the CF Schools Foundation when you complete and submit this form by the registration deadline of Monday, May 16th. Students must print out the confirmation email they receive from the Alumni Association as their ticket to be admitted into the Senior Breakfast at no cost. If you would not like to be a part of the CF Schools Foundation Alumni database and have a breakfast purchased, you are welcome to purchase a ticket to the breakfast for $12.50. We would love to have you attend!
May 24, 2024 - Practice for graduation will be at the McLeod Center, University of Northern Iowa Campus, 2501 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls Iowa immediately after the breakfast. It is MANDATORY that everyone participating in the ceremony be at this practice! If there is a major conflict, it must be cleared by Mr. Wedgbury prior to this day. Practice will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m. Students who are employed should make no work plans until at least 11:30 a.m. to allow for graduation practice time and travel.
HR Imaging will take the senior class picture at the conclusion of the commencement rehearsal. This photo will be posted online with the graduation day photos and will be available for ordering at that same time.

May 26, 2024 - Commencement at the McLeod Center, University of Northern Iowa Campus, 2501 Hudson Road, Cedar Falls (graduates arrive by 1:15 pm to line up)
Please note the expectations on the Commencement Participation Agreement handout requesting the parent and student signatures. Please discuss with your student that we reserve the right to restrict participation in the commencement ceremony for anyone who desires not to follow the guidelines.
Mr. Wedgbury, Mr. Becker, Mr. Benitez, and Mr. White will greet the seniors at the UNI Dome, Southwest Dome Entrance on commencement day. Students will line up on the floor of the UNI Dome and proceed through the corridor to the McLeod Center for the beginning of the ceremony. The Administrators will check to see that graduates have caps, gowns, tassels, etc. for the ceremony. (No purses, bags, cameras, etc! The McLeod Center/UNI Dome is not safe for valuables and we may not be held responsible for lost items.) Please bring no more than lipstick/comb.
